I'm sure there was some post ride embellishment of the plan but I really like the "all or nothing" approach they took. Right down to water bottles every 10 mins. "Marginal gains" has been totally perverted now of course but that is marginal gains right there...and a massive budget that allows enough staff members to make it happen. Like Bahrain's manoeuvre. If it was Team Sky you'd have headlines for weeks. There were many other TUEs applied for and granted - Froome had 2 in 2 years Wiggins had 3 in 3 years (if memory serves). Who used the rest and were they for actual reasons or performance enhancing reasons? The UK report suggested 90% were used as performance enhancers.... 8. Yo-Yo Posted June 7, 2018 Share I have just ordered Cycling News' Crescendo for R79 from Vimeo. Their 'Holy Week' film covering Flanders and Roubaix was pretty good as well.
