American Classic - Terrain rear 135 -> 142 conversion

Hi,

I have a an AC wheelset with Terrain hubs. The rear is QR135 and I'd like to convert it to 12x142. I see there's a conversion kit available, and with the tools and a bit of patience and care, I'm sure I can get this done myself.

 

But... will the wheel require a rebuild?

No rebuild required unless the wheel needs a service for some reason

Just a new axle, some cone spanners and an axle vice and Robert's your father's brother.
