metal shock bushings.

So where can i buy metal shock bushings?

 

I cant find anywhere online locally that sell them,

my frame didn't come with them and now i have some other frames one on and its causing play because its 1mm to short.

 

Do i need to have them CNC machined,

or will bikeshops be able to order?

The shock hardware is frame specific but that said you can get most widths from Fox or Sram.  They no longer do the old style which has a DU bushing in the shock eye (shock specific) and the aluminium inserts which vary from frame to frame.  The newer types have a steel tube and plastic bushes/spacers.  Cost around R300 per end.

 

DU bushings you can get from industrial suppliers and the inserts you will need to get machined.
