SBR access from western side

I know that there is a gate on the Western side of the reserve I think off the R557.

 

I am coming from the Vereeniging side and need to know if I can park and ride from there and if so, what time does that gate open.

Its the kareekloof entrance, no official parking. Most park at the old circus and ride in.
