Carbon bike fix

So, long story short, I bought a second hand Dogma on the hub, and it arrived like this:

Courier damage, and the courier only insures against damage to new goods (small print), so I had a badly broken frame to deal with. Also the seller wasn't particularly interested in helping out - given the condition of the headset bearings he had not looked after the frame well to begin with, so not really one to engage on the condition of things going forward.

 

Looking at my options and having looked around a bit I got in touch with a business called Carbon Bike Repair in Northriding, who assessed the frame and quoted on a repair with assurances from their UK office that all would be well once repaired - results were very good, will post the repair below.

Fark dude :eek: what bloody couriers did that (did they take turns jumping on it till they heard a crack)

 

Exactly. Air freight, and like they landed the plane on it..
