ZakAttak Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Every year when I visit my parents in Jongensfontein I hang my Anthem upside down from two hooks in their garage without any problems. Once heard that hanging it this way can cause bubbles in the system to settle at the highest point i.e. calipers and cause brakes to fail. IMHO if this happens it means that the brake system is compromised and in need of a service anyway.Now this makes sense of course, if air bubbles do occur, then it's time to service as said!????
jimmycool Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 I think sometimes the issue is that it is very difficult on some brakes to completely get rid of every single bubble and if you don't keep the rubber side down all the time it can result in spongy brakes if you do happen to store the bike upside down.
