Value of a set of 29'' rims with boost hubs ?

I am doing an upgrade to new rims and new drive train ...    Pics and story to follow in a separate thread ....

 

It also means I have a set of rims that needs a new home.

 

 

There is enough tread left on the original tires that these are transferred to the new rims (unless somebody makes me a very good offer very quickly)

 

 

Honesty section - the rear drive side bearing "acted up".  Louis at Knipe Racing has just replaced both bearings, and gave the free-hub a proper service, even replacing shims to find the perfect fit.

 

 

QUESTION - what is a fair price for a set of wheels (excluding tires) ?

That's an EX 5 - so pretty basic wheelset, I reckon you can start asking around R2k for the set excluding tyres, however, expect to realistically get around R1500
