2018 Tour of Oman (13-18 Feb)

With a course like this, it is no surprise that the list of previous winners of the Tour of Oman is a distinguished one, with Nibali and Froome having twice emerged victorious.

 

The 2018 race is set to take place between February 13 and 18.

 

The race is generally decided with the climb of Jebel Akhdar (more commonly known as the Green Mountain).

This 5.7km climb has a fearsome average gradient of 10.7 per cent, making it by far the hardest climb that any of the riders in the race would have faced by this point in the season.
