Mavic Crossride or Fulcrum Red Power XL

Hi Gents/Ladies. I have just got myself a new bike and cant decide what wheels to put on it

 

I have the 2 in the poll and will keep the other set for spare obviously if I one day managed to break one of the wheels.

 

What wheel should be my main rider wheels Mavic Crossride or Fulcrum Red Power XL

Bike: Rocky Mountain Vertex 999 RSL Carbon with Sram 1x11

Really thought there would have been more opinions. I am still in 2 minds about these 2 and cant really make up my mind

I have some 26 inch fulcrums (think its the Red Metal 5), very impressed with how well they hold up.

 

What's the price for the wheels? If you can spend a bit more get a custom built set with Hopes (or Novatech's to save some cash) and a nice ram (like an Arch or maybe something cheaper). I will also recommend j-bend spokes with brass nipples.

I currently ride the fulcrum wheels so I baised.

So I decided on the Mavics 

 

Tech spec though

Mavics 2020g
Fulcrums 1915g

105g differerence

 

Mavics are 2017 and Fulcrum 2013

 

Hubs on Mavic are Sealed bearings where the Fulcrums are Cartridge bearings

 

Mavic spokes and bearings I can get at my local store and very cheap with good after sales service from Tony Impey.

 

Also just FYI - My Mavics have a completely new set of tyres on that makes it hard for me to put on a new set again now.
