Yeh, commute through Rondebosch > Claremont > Up towards Rhodes > Rhodes Mem > Lower slopes > Up towards Blockhouse split (now options, into gardens for the best coffee in town, Deluxe ; or go up to blockhouse; or up tafelberg road and down deadmans tree) but eventually we make into to CBD , some to civic center some to foreshore myself to woodstock

Thanks Meezo. I want to avoid sweating too much on the ride to town (All I have are baby wipes and a change of clothes) but the ride home via your route is intriguing me. Just came back from Rhodes Memorial but not sure where the trail starts. Will ask around when I go up there after work tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice gents. If you see a slightly overweight (Due to pregnancy - even though my wife gave birth 3 years ago) on the road, huffing and puffing along on a blue Scott, be sure to wave.

Do a search for Chelmsford road, it has a cul de sac, this is where you’ll start head right above the quarry... we meet there daily around 5pm most welcome to meetup join, as for showers ours was turned off in fear of dayZero still hasn’t been turned on, I bought myself one of those 4L insecticide bottles from takealot, it’s getting a little bit chilli now so i ride with a flask of boiling water, but we planning on getting a kettle in our bike room at the office

Wow. All these hidden gems in the city. I'll definitely take you up on the offer to join in. Thanks again
