FirstV8 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 I have a Ghost Lector 2978 and have a creaking top tube noise . at first i thought it was a pivot bearing but after stripping those and re greasing, it persisted . I then started feeling on the frame as i was riding and eventually found that it was the top tube . When i push down very hard on the tube i feel a movement inside it . Does this mean my frame is splintering on the inside or has a crack not visible to the eye yet . What advise from the carbon gurus as i have only ever owned Columbus and Reynolds steel bikes . I tried to load a sound clip but its too big . The pic with top tube will have to do .
