I still have a 1995 Hot Chile downhill bike - built by Robbie Powell...  kind of different ride to my Spez Demo...

I was given one of these some time ago (like 2003). For some reason - i fully rebuilt.

 

It didnt have the front fork above but had a trick carbon elastomer fork - about 50mm travel with Magura hydraulic rim brakes. And grip shift 8 or 9 speed.

 

I completely rebuilt it and then never used it as i had a Scalpel as my primary bike. Middleburn rings etc with a 9 speed XT groupo. The suspension was like a pogo stick with the coil springs.

 

It was just collecting dust so I gave it to my boet who then gave it to a lighty in CTN and so its now probably in a scrap heap somewhere. 

 

It was really a piece of history - not a great handling piece of history, but i wish i had it now to give to some museum or collector....
