Looking at  the earlier ones you can see why you can ride the teeth off your jockey wheels without feeling anything!

Very interesting article. I love those old derailleurs. I have a Campagnolo Nuovo Valentino Extra and a Super in my collection. Not very functional but so interesting to collect.

I really enjoy bikes and bike history but not sure I could sit through a presentation called A History of the World in 100 Derailleurs!
