Firstly what tyres are you currently running amd is there enough room between brake calipers and tyre top and sides, and your fork clearance. Check clearance specs of your calipers online. Secondly what are internal dimensions of your current rims.? I attached sizing chart and although you can use 15mm it would create a mushroom effect and be less aero. A wider internal rim would lower profile of tyre and be more aero, better suited though. Check out videos from GCN on tyre width pro's and cons.

Good morning,

I would please like to ask some advice on tyres.

Does anyone know if 28mm Gatorskins will fit on a 2010 Scott Addict R3 frame?

Thank you for the help and advice. Regards

On the same bike I currently run 25 mm on EA70 Eastons and just make it. Tried it with other wheels and it was rubbing on the Chain stay  when standing up.Don't think you will be able to fit 28

You definitely won't be able to fit 28mm.

My old man has the R3 and even 25mm is tight.
