Hi Guys

I would like so assistance if possible. I have a Tacx Flow, started it after several years. I got an 26er MTB fitted on there with some road slicks. Problems is have is as follow:

1. The round "wheel" part that pushes against back wheel is pushing quite hard.

2. The back wheel slips on the "wheel" part

3. When starting the program to add the unit to the software you must cycle at 30km/h for it to calibrate, thats quite impossible with the mtb - at least for a beginner.

4. When i skip that part and goes straight to the app to start cycle, it is very laggy and shows im doing around 20km/h when im almost not cycling.

I hope someone can help

Hi Guys

I would like so assistance if possible. I have a Tacx Flow, started it after several years. I got an 26er MTB fitted on there with some road slicks. Problems is have is as follow:

1. The round "wheel" part that pushes against back wheel is pushing quite hard - adjust the resistance with knob to slacken the tension

2. The back wheel slips on the "wheel" part - There are trainer specific tyres to prevent this problem, as well as over heating tyres

3. When starting the program to add the unit to the software you must cycle at 30km/h for it to calibrate, thats quite impossible with the mtb - at least for a beginner - once you get the training tyre, you will have enough grip to go 30km/h without tyre slipping

4. When i skip that part and goes straight to the app to start cycle, it is very laggy and shows im doing around 20km/h when im almost not cycling - this happens because you have not calibrated it properly, as well as the incorrect tension adjustment against the wheel.

I hope someone can help

Regards

Hope the above helps.
