Trip wire across M4 in Durban/Tongaat area

Heads-up peeps.  These swines who are determined to steal our bikes have come up with a new trick in Dirtbin.  They have taken to strininging a wire acrodd the road and pulling it up just as you ride over it.  They got 1 of our club members and his buddy on Tuesday morning (in daylight) and he ended up in ICU with a smashed collar bone, broken ribs and a punctured lung.

 

Fortunately cars stopped almost immediately and they did not get to steal the bikes or mug them, but they ran away with the wire, so they will be back!

 

What next!!!

 

Please all be vigilant and definitely no cycling solo.....anywhere!
