I couldn't agree more - and whats more concerning is that BigH always sems to hijack topics by directing posts towards something to do with chritianity.

Please BigH!!! this is actually not aprreciated by most hubbers and you are simply making your name gat on the Hub. As a freind an fellow hubber i request you to stop this or get therapy

I really take offence to your posting. Please explain in detail why I am NOT allowed to what Christians should do. Your vague accusations and insinuations is seen as an insult.

In this case I reacted on a posting by Holy Roller that Christians are not intelligent. Nou noem jy my die vark in die verhaal!!!!! Klim eerder in HR se karakter in. Moet ek maar net my bek hou. NEE ek SAL nie stilbly oor iets wat vir my belangrik is nie.

BigH - on a number of topics in the past that you have posted as well as were others have posted you steer them towards some biblical quote or reference to your god, almost to the extent of bible punching. You were not refered to as a Vark or any sorts. I simply requested that you keep your religious comments to yourself or for Sunday mornings with the Pastor.

being a cyclist forum, cyclist come here to discuss, fight, argue, swear and agree on cycling matters. They not interestd in the fire and brimstone that christianity preaches, as i'm sue that many go to church to listen to that. They don't need to hear it from you as well.

If you feel like preaching, this is the wrong congregation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's not at all religious but here's a fascinating story i found on the wires, headlined "The Jesus Tree"?

from the daily mail:

DATE PALM IS GROWN FROM A 2,000-YEAR-OLD SEED THAT WAS AROUND WHEN CHRIST WALKED THE EARTH
IT'S the sort of palm that wouldn't look out of place in a modern office.
But there is nothing ordinary - or modern - about this sapling.
The 5ft-tall plant was grown from a 2,000-year-old seed found at the ancient Israeli fortress of Masada.
It came from a Judean date palm tree that could have been growing in the forests between Galilee and the Dead Sea when Jesus was alive.
The discovery has astonished botanists. Previously, the most ancient seed to germinate was 1,300 years old and had been preserved in cold water.
The scientists who grew the seed said it came from a date eaten by one of the 960 Jewish rebels who occupied the Roman garrison at Masada during the great uprising against Rome.

and to show that i'm not all empty, like hendrik petoors big h would suggest. this would be of interest to mine christian frinds:

MOUNT OF BEATITUDES, Israel (AP) _ A dirt path begins across the road from a bus-congested holy site on Israel's Sea of Galilee, winding up a hill covered with wild oat and thistle.
Thousands of pilgrims each year visit the stone church at Tabgha and other sanctuaries marking Jesus' miracles. But few venture beyond the crowds to the landscape Jesus walked in the Galilee. Those who do find silence and solace on the rocky hills and in the shade of the olive trees that cover the plains.
Now a private Israeli project has set down a 40-mile (65-kilometer) hiking path through the region where Jesus ministered. The Jesus Trail hopes to bring thousands of tourists to follow in his footsteps to hear the songbirds, smell the wild dill and reflect along the way.
