I have to ask does anyone know the details of the crash at misty cliffs, I heard a bang and knew there was problems, I saw about three guys to the right on the ground, one in the middle of the road dazed and confused,and a bike in front with no rear wheel and a chain stay missing, i just hope those involved are ok?

I believe it was 2 tandem and a single bike getting mixed up. The one rider on the tandem is a doctor at Constantiaberg.

This is what a Dr at Constantiaberg told me this morning as it was a colleague of his on the tandem - referring to the misty cliffs incident not the Smits incident which was another Dr at Constantiaberg - RIP.

its very possible tandems were involved, by this point the racing tandems had merged with us,and they where pushing for position,after the smits climb, I only got  a look at one rider, a single bike in the road, there where others to the right, but did not get a clear look.
