Lynn89 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I recently got a (cheap) bicycle for my birthday. I ride with kids around the block etc. Can you build up a cheap bike to better it or is it better to just buy a better one like Titan etc?
100Tours Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 A second hand bike in the classifieds is usually a better spend of your money. Your cheapo bike will most likely not have a frame that it worth the upgraded components.

Once the bug bites then you may want to a buy new albeit decent bike for proper riding. Just look around the classifieds and see if there's anything you'd like within your budget.

I've picked up a couple of nice bikes on here for friends last 1 was a Scott scale 950 2014/15 for R6500. Nothing wrong with Titan the guys don't like the name so easy to get a bargain on them. Set yourself a budget and let the browsing begin.????????????????
