Unless like I suspect you bought a 27.5 plus model Stumpy with a Fox 34 labeled 27.5, but is actually a 27.5+/29 model. In that case it will fit. I know on my 2016 Stumpy Expert 27.5+ the fork was labeled 27.5, but was a 27.5+/29 model as described above. I know this labeling issue was just with 2016 Fox 34 Fit4 Performance Elite model forks, and the subsequent year models were labeled correctly. If you bought the standard 27.5 Stumpy though, and the fork is in fact a 27.5 model then it definitely will not fit.
