PjT Posted May 24, 2019 Share So, who of you had (or still have) one of these 29er dual suspension bikes? Your thoughts on the general feel, performance, weight of the frame and suspension? I am 1.93m, mostly legs, and nudge the scale @ 80kg max (maergat!))I am a weekend warrior, who ride mostly ride at Lourensford on weekends, Stellenbosch Trails (Eden etc) and the odd Oak Valley/Paul Cluver. I have found a XL frame one, in really good condition it seems going for bargain price.I still have to view in person, but it involves travelling a bit).My idea is to buy, and swap over some parts (wheels, drivetrain, dropper and brakes etc.) from my current hardtail to this frame. And rebuild my hardtail with leftover parts and sell that to recover some costs. NB: Please do not compare with current dual's and their suspension/geometry...because the cost of a newer bike/frame (like Anthem etc) is not even remotely in my budget. Here is a photo of the same model...just for reference.https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/78456-silverback-mercury-sport-29er/
