Christie Posted June 5, 2019 Share Breed's Nek is one of the few options. It is a proper hill, I wont call a mountain, but it is the best I know of. You can do it by riding from Van Gaalens and back for distance, or park closer and do repeats. Christie Posted June 5, 2019 Share Some other short ones out east of Pretoria are Swavelpoort and WTF, but these are more steepish undulations, rather than hills. Roul
Ashchest Posted June 5, 2019 Share Breedts Nek Go up on the one side and then down on the other - then you have to come back up again

RobertWhitehead Posted June 6, 2019 Share There's a route called the "Triple Tiere Trap" in the East of Pretoria, this route comprises of: Saints, Wingerde, WTF, Tier, Nkwe then once at Nkwe you turn around and repeat. It will be close to 1000m over 50km. Let me see if I can find the Strava file quickly, otherwise I will plot one for you
RobertWhitehead Posted June 6, 2019 Share https://www.strava.com/routes/19387945 - 684m over 37.9km for there and back to the start. If you do it 3 or even 4 times the elevation will be lots more. You can change the route up a bit and just do some repeats as well Edited June 6, 2019 by RobertWhitehead Spinnekop and Roul
