MRI or Arthroscopy

Sure the theory that you'll end up needing artgoscopy 90% regardless of what the mri shows. MRI is expensive and if not covered by insurance simply isn't an affordable option to all. My opinion is that it will be money well spent. It may help the orthopod see and plan ahead. I've had colleagues say that the MRI definitely helped them better plan the arthroscopy and actions to be taken. In some instances the clincal examination doesn't match the MRI findings and conservative approach may well be indicated. Microfractures showing bone oedema on MRI can be completely missed on plain film xrays. Tibial plateau microfractures can examine very similar to meniscal tears... Just one instance where the MRI may save your bacon.

My wife just had an arthroscopy (turns out it was a partially torn cruciate ligament). She's allowed to drive after a week. Not allowed on her bike for 6 weeks...

Do you mean with your toes pointing 5 minutes to 1?

Why?

Toes should be pointing outward somewhat...

There isn’t one correct angle for all, as it would depend on individual anatomy...
