Brand loyalty is amazing. A lot of people justify their decision by saying what they've got is the best. (if they didn't think so they wouldn't have bought it). To get an unbiased opinion is virtually impossible. Fortunately their are a lot of makes of bikes that all have their share of supporters - or we'd all ride the same bikes. Whatever bike I buy, I believe to be the best in it's class/price.

Yeti asr! Tried an Epic but not for me. Havent ridden the others so cant vouch for them. Also rode the new 575 but too soft and plush.

not really.... you might ride what you can afford but you might have a difrent oppinion about what is the best........

I agree mtbking81. Unfortunately I can't afford to ride what I think is the ultimate bike, but not many of us can, and without riding them, how do you know what's best? So, until then, the bike I buy is the best for me.
