Garmin Edge 130, setting up more than one bike?

Can you set up the device for more than one bike, like on the Edge 500?

 

If you are able to, I cannot find it in the manual or on the device settings. 

 

Please assist a slightly technology challenged individual.

Maybe I'm missing something, but surely there is nothing to setup.

 

Or are you refering to linking mulitple speed and cadence sensors ?

I like to know how far in total I've ridden with my various bikes, thus the ability to switch between bike 1 and 2 is important. I do not have a cadence meter on my Mtb, only my road bike, so that is not an issue.

 

On my Edge 500 you can select which bike you are riding. (Bike 1, 2 or 3)

AFAIK, that functionality was dropped in favour of the different profiles. What you can do is create two profiles, default the one profile to road and the other to mtb. At least your data will be segregated

add your bikes to the gear section on the app/website. Once your activity has synched go into the app and assign the correct bike under gear.

 

I use this switching between  3 bikes.
