Simon Kolin Posted August 10, 2019 Share (Sorry for the late post). Aiming to add further results to the team’s successful July campaign, CCC-Liv sent a team of five riders to Spain to compete in two one-day races: Emakumeen Nafarroako Klasikoa and Clasica Femenina Navarra. The racing began Tuesday in Pamplona where Ashleigh Moolman Pasio took the victory at the Emakumeen Nafarroako Klasikoa aboard the Langma Advanced SL. The 108km course included three significant climbs and descents spread out from the start to the finish, making it ideal for Moolman Pasio’s strengths. On the final climb of San Miguel de Aralar, Moolman Pasio broke free of a large lead group with Mitchelton Scott’s Lucy Kennedy. She managed to ride away solo on the climb, but was caught again on the 15km descent to the finish by Kennedy. Heading into the final meters, Moolman Pasio jumped early and out-sprinted Kennedy to the line to secure the win. jdwet1980, Sepia, NC_lurker and 3 others
