Just to show how much influence a dad has. He is hooked onto MTB, he already owns 3 bikes, and will probably request a BMX for his next birthday. His current MTB is a Scott.

At the moment we ride every weekend together for about 2 hours, and hopefully he will be able to do a Sabie Experience with me when he is a bit older. The enjoyment that a clild gets is so intense, and I must say that I love it as well:

Some pic's from last weekend (fathers day):

Always smiling, even after a hour of riding.

BBi that is so cool. I don't think you are going to get that smile off your boys face anytime soon. A freind of mine is a psycologist and says that all the kids that she has to see do not do any physical activity keep it up.

I went out with my boy on FD as well we rode in the Baakens valley in PE in the rain had an absolute blast nothing better for quality time with the youngsters. Told mom it was the best thing we did this year.

aaaaaah, tnt1, so that explains your absence last monday?

great thing about the kids being out and about at the races is the amount of encouragement complete strangers give them. at one provincial, a vet rider gave my youngest son his medal after breandan finished outside the medal positions. that old dude's got a friend for life.

It is so nice to have comments like that from your son.

Just by the way, my wife is a psycologist, so I get to lay down on the couch every evening......

Yip Hr/_BBi you guys are on the right track. Me and Lil' Ben went out yesterday (he's 18, been riding since he was 13) and he still gives me a high five when I manage to clear a technical bit that I couldn't before, find a slightly faster line or am just behind him down a quick rocky down!
