Shimano will keep a groupset in production for 5 years and the next first years as spares. Then after ten years production will end for the groupset. What remains is groupset the OME( Bicycle Manufacturer) sort or agents. Why OME will have is, ie they many purchase from Shimano 600 and from Sram 600 to produce 1000 bicycle for a year.
