Opinions please.

Coming from a Anthem, wanting a bit more travel and trail orientated.

Mostly ride trails on Meerendal and a bit of XC. Not serious, weekend worrier.

The 120mm travel of the Trek seems a good compromise. Or should I just go Scott 150 travel.

I will not  be able to test them both.

I suppose the question is: will I loose something on the 150 travel vs the 120 travel on these type of "mild" trails?

I would say that 150mm travel is a bit squishy for mild trails

The Trek Fuel EX is a race bike with trail manners (or is it the other way around ?)

What's your budget ?

It would be nice to throw some other options like:

Evil Following MB

Transition Smuggler

Santa Cruz Tallboy 4

Ibis Ripley 4

Pivot Trail 429

Giant Trance 29

Specialized Stumpjumper ST

Norco Optic (2020 version)

Probably several more in the 120mm Rear and 130/140mm Front Category
