Mid week MTB rides

This itch that is MTB riding, how do you scratch this itch in the week days?

 

Maybe tough in winter due to less daylight hours, but where do you go if you got 2 hours free

 

Also what is the safest option especially if solo riding

 

Cape town areas

Southern suburbs preferably

Lots of options... Green Belt, Cecilia, Kirstenbosch Loop, Lookout..

Tokai also an option but you need to be out before 18h00

Are they safe to do alone?

Decent amount of traffic on the belt and the rest.

Tokai sometimes a bit quieter in the week

LOADS of options in southern suburbs! You can easily do a full day ride on mostly dirt.

 

Is it safe? Mostly yes, but there is always a risk (there has been a crime spike in recent weeks). Personally I prefer to ride with someone.
