Sketchy setup

I am runnig ‘n shimano xt 11 speed cassette, shimano slx 10 speed derailleur and a 11 speed sram gx shifter. It seems to be running good, why is everything not clashing?

As long as the leverage ratios on the shifts and derailleurs are the same it should work. If I recall the your combo is not perfect but so close its negligible and as you says runs good

I have been collecting parts from my local bike shop and friends so thats how i came up with this combo????

I tool my raleigh witch use to be 7 speed freewheel and mechanical brakes and switched out everything except the frame and fork. Now it 1x11 with 180mm disks and hydraulic brakes
