widget Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 The RED CROSS CHILDRENS HOSPITAL or the SALVATION ARMY are two good places to start. They should be in the local directory. .............failing that pop along to your local church and ask them if they will distribute the clothes amongst the parish needy, its winter and theres a lot of need, I am sure they would be most gratefull. I know its not necessary to mention, but some charities (like the red cross) due to possible health issues wont accept the garments unless they are cleanly washed and reasonably hygienic. pedal Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Zerocool,I run a development cycling programme, and we have often received non-cycling clothes, which we give to the more needy, as they are in dire need of clothing....... so would gladly take them from you.I am in northern suburbs, but could always make a plan to meet you.PM me if this is acceptable.A lovely gesture on your part.
