Maybe not in the immediate Brackenfell area, but close being in Durbanville - why don't you reach out to the Slow Coach group ( they're on Facebook as well) They often have beginner rides and other group rides. Just this past Sunday they had a massive turn out at Bloemendal

JIP, Slowcoach does a lot for beginner cyclists in the MTB arena.  (I dont know if they also do road)

 

They had a BIG group of riders at Bloemendal on Sunday morning.
