Whats it Worth - 2012 Scalpel 2 Si

I have had a look in the classifieds, but the prices for similar aged bikes are all over the place.

 

A friend of a friend is clearing out his garage, and has a well used (but still in decent running order) 2012 Scalpel 2 29er, with a 2x10 XTR Drivetrain. 

 

Shock and fork seem okay, no oil leaks, lock outs etc working as they should. 

 

I want to make him an offer. Its a good second bike, and I have needed a spare bike a couple of times the past few weeks.

 

He doesnt know what he wants for it, and I dont want to make him a ludicrous offer

That sounds resonable. This one has a few scuffs and scratches, I reckon I will offer him 13k, and negotiate from there
