Fork and Shock Service Prices

Hi all,

 

I haven't been riding for a while but its time to get back on the bike again. The bike has been in storage for a while and needs a service including the suspension. What is a reasonable price to have the service done on both the fork (Fox Evolution F140 RL) and the shock (Custom Fox Triad II with AUTOSAG)? I'm not at the point where I can do this type of maintenance myself so it has to go to the shop.

Wiper seals for the fork are about R 750 - R 800 a set, and a full shock seal kit is about R 950.

 

Add an hour of labour and some consumables to that and you're pretty much there. 

 

The reason I've priced the kits is because I've heard service charges quoted that wouldn't even cover parts, which means you'll spend the money but not get anything useful for it.
