Road routes around Harties

Be cautious on those roads around Farties over weekends....As David mentioned they are attractions for the speedsters...bikers and others who will simply disregard your presence....

I'm glad I left the road bike at home. The roads in that area are not road cycling friendly. 

Plus getting in and out of the resort on the road bike would have been a little challenging, the entire place is paved in cobble stone style brick paving.

 

The so called MTB trails inside are all on the same cobble paved pathways, the route I rode on most days would go around the perimeter of the resort, it was a short 4km loop but had around 60m of elevation, so would do it 3 times before brekkies. Some parts were steep and slippery and you'd get some wheel spin.
