MTB development clubs and organisations in Cape Town

Looking for a grassroots mtb riding development club / organisation / initiative. 

Who are the people to contact?

Schools Cycling SA has this as one of their goals.

 

They even have a person dealing with development .....

That said, they rely "heavily" on the schools for the rider development.  They assist with training the teachers, who in turn is responsible for what happens at the school.

So I run an organisationcalled pedal project, where it's grass roots that we coach them how to ride a bike and also MTB skills.

 

The programme is more designed around a mental health support programme though MTB. And if the kids are keen to continue we set them up with other academies.

 

So there are of course, Songo in stllenbosch, Bonga and velokhaya (more road and BMX but are looking at MTB)  in khayalitsha and that's about it to be honest
