Whats it worth?

Hi Guys not sure if I should post this here on in the buyers guide
 

Just want to find out what this bike is worth 

Trek 4300 frame
Mechanical disk brakes (Avid Levers and Shimano Calipers)

Single Speed (Praxis works 32T Narrow wide and 18 at the back with DMR works tensioner)

Rock Shock Lyrik 160mm solo air 

26" wheels

Specialized seat (small tear at the back)

Easton Handlebar and stem

I know the fork is not meant to fit that frame I just used it to cycle with my kids

That's a 2011 Trek - I have the red one. It was new R4999.00 at Cycle Lab when I bought mine. That 160mm fork is not really meant for the frame and it currently has cable brakes. My guess is between R1500 - R2000 as is but if you strip it down you may get more. But you'll end up with some parts which you wont be able to sell. You may be able to get R1200 for the fork and hub on the front wheel alone. Then the frame will fetch around R600.

Shot thanks. I also paid R4999 for my 4300 new back in 2011/12

at that price I guess I would rather keep it as a bike to play with the kids

Good idea, I love mine and it's not worth getting rid of it as you already know what you have 👍😁
