Skinsuit tailoring service

This is entering the zone of aero-weenie territory, but quite often skinsuits/trisuits don't fit perfectly for tall, skinny athletes. The small ones are too short and the big ones are too baggy. I'm sure many can relate.

The question then is if anyone has done or knows of a service in SA to tailor a suit to adjust the fit to the rider?

The latest suits have fancy materials and  flatlock seams, so probably not a job for the local Edward scissor hands.

@Sid the Sloth has had a jersey and a bib stitched together into a skinsuit which looks pretty rad and very very well done, Perhaps he can give you a lead. I also remember Vye customizing some peoples kit from other brands to get it to fit a bit better. Perhaps pop them a mail.

To be completely honest the job I had done was intended solely to last a few races and I wouldn’t promote it for long term use if you want the skinsuit to last longer. 
 

My suggestion would be to approach a local kit production company (probably one of the smaller ones as the big ones might be less inclined to help out a potential customer with a project that isn’t really their priority) and ask them to stitch it up to the correct shape. Another win is also moving the chamois to sit in the correct place as sometimes they stitch them a bit high or low for your individual geometry down under and flexibility / position on the bike.
