700c Rims - Where to purchase?

Recommended Posts

Hi, looking to purchase 700c Rim brake rims to build up a decent wheelset.
32h rear and 28h front, looking for a semi-aero rim (>30mm).
Inner width needs to be greater than 16mm.
Any suggestions as to where to purchase from would be great?

Does anyone have experience purchasing from R2Bike?

Thanks

Road rims are like hens teeth locally.
I’ve taken to using distributors in Europe, UK and China.

R2-bike is ok but the stuff takes 4-6 weeks to arrive.
Starbike is the same.
CRC has limited options.

Ya same story.
They're all pretty reliable, just slightly disconcerting that many options force you to use the Post Office....

Have been trying to stay away from these options, as SAPOS seems to be a bit dead.
As far as I know, that list includes the likes of Starbike, Bike24.com, BikeComponents.de?

Merlin, CRC use a courier...

People have mentioned Aramex Global Shopper to try and get around that. Not sure if its worth it on 2 x road rims...
