Mtb Trail Around Albert Falls Dam

Hi there. 

 

I heard someone mention an awesome trail around Albert Falls Dam. It wasnt quite in the dam area itself but the route went to and around the dam. 

 

Please let me know if you have an idea or route information. Planning a weekend away and want to explore some good trails. We have ridden around the reserve but looking to do a longer route.

Check out the strava heat map. I saw a mate ride it long ago. Was about 50 km. Most of it looked like riding dirt roads around the dam, nothing hectic or mtb specific.

Drive around a bit by car first. Some tricky turns and not such great people around the area. You could always end up at Karkloof; helluva climb though.
