Mavic Replacement Spokes (Zicral) - Who/Where/How in SA?

Hi Folks,

Where in SA does one get replacement spokes for Mavic Wheels?
Specifically, the bladed Zicral/Aluminum ones, see this link here for the specifics https://www.mavicparts.com/collections/mavic-road-spokes/products/new-mavic-spoke, this link is however US based and out of stock of the one I have.

I am hoping that someone in SA can steer me in the right direction before I start looking on ebay and/or similar platforms.

Below is a screengrab of the sort of spoke I am looking for, for those who haven't clicked on the link.

Thanks (holding thumbs 😅)

- Mr Bendy-Spoke

Let me know what length you are looking for. Dragons is no longer doing Mavic from what i undestand but the should still have spares.

Drive side: 273.5mm

Thats according to what I find on the web. Will need to cross reference at home on the bike.

Can try the agents, Dragon Sports. https://www.dragons.co.za/mavic/

Alternatively, if you’re in Gauteng you can ask your LBS to ask the local rep, Deon. He’s often pretty good with things like this.

I'm Cape Town based, as we all know the urgency here is not quite up to the pace up on the highveld. 😆

Your LBS should be able to order, Dragons have in red and blue. No black ones though.

Recently had a service and asked them to true the wheel. Let's just say they were not proactive in looking for a spoke or potentially assisting. Guess I'll try another local bike shop.

Your wheels have a barcode sticker on the rim.
Input that code into the Mavic service website and it will tell you which spares part number you require.

https://technicalmanual.mavic.com/tech-mavic/technical_manual/data/mavic_tech.php?&fil=2&co=UK

Then we check with Dragons, the Mavic agents, if they have stock on hand.

Get someone who knows what they're doing to install the new spoke. Special nipple wrench needed, obviously.
