Cable stop on Bianchi chainstay

I developed a problem when cable to the rear derailleur came out of the cable stop/guide on the chainstay of my Bianchi road bike. Scouting around on the internet it appears that there is a specific ferrule required to fit into the cable stop. It is a stepped ferrule. Not entirely sure what the step down is from and to as there seem to be a variety of options or opinions. Can these ferrules be sourced locally?

Post a picture of the frame and ferrule might be able to assist

If the frame isn't under warranty, file the stop out and run the housing full length

I've done this but without filing the stop off.

Thank you. I think going the way of running housing all the way and seems to be working fine.
