In my experience the best solution for a slipping seat post is to rebuild the postΒ  (make it thicker) with a carbon repair kit. You can buy carbon sheets and epoxy resin quite cheap on Temu as well. Just one layer of sheet (on part of the post that is inside the frame) and sand down to a perfect fit. It's a permanent fix and you can at any time remove and reset the post without the fear of slipping again after removal.Β  .... if you get a new frame and the post falls all the way into the frame with no resistance...prepare yourself for a slipping post... specially on gravel...

Temu is legend. Bought some carbon sheet rols some time ago and got some LR30 resin from AMT and made some carbon parts for my other toy. Was actually fun. Made a mold first and molded the stuff and came out really good.Β
