Here's a thought.

If we all buy from a store in China from suppliers in China then stores and suppliers in South Africa will dry up. Bear that in mind every time you click to send your ZARs to the East (and yes I am not a complete idiot I know some things cannot be purchased here and 98% of the stuff we need is made there anyway).

Okay

Key is to study the size Guide, specifically looking at the actual product chart. Also different models from the same brand can have slightly different sizing. For me inner leg needs to be around 24.5

It's worth checking the measurements quoted for the Souke bibs you bought and use those as a baseline when looking at other options.

I noticed the different styles yes... Will checkout the other types and note measurements on sizing chart. Def getting another set in near future...

The game has changed though. Simply being the middleman is no longer enough value-add.

If you need something in less than two weeks, go get it at a shop; otherwise might as well buy it directly from Temu or Aliexpress for half the price and the same wait, especially if it is something that you would probably not bother with returning if/when it breaks.

Locally made/assembled items is a bit of a different story, but with many of those reaching "luxury brand" prices, the choice for a lot of people is not very hard.

I'd love to put some locally-built Nextie bulletproof light wheels on my MTB, and my birthday is months away so I have time to save up. But for my gravel bike, which is my third and least-used bike (for now), a pair of good-enough Kore wheels are tempting.

That's kind of my point. Your local bike shop (and Ciovita etc) won't survive if we all buy most of our kit from a website in Farawayland.

But hey, with AI grabbing jobs all over the place I suppose most of us humans are fooked either way. 😛
