  1. About 2 years ago I was looking for a X1 of Q3 but between 2015 and 2020 models, decide to check what they got but I know they got dodgy stuff and just to see what pops up. Check a Q3, book shows it was service at the x amount km's at this place, but the computer shows 50k km less then what the book shows. I informed there sales person, he did nothing. Went to a different one to go check a super clean X1 2017 but it was behind on two services that the computer is showing. Took the vin number to BMW to have it run on the system and it actually still had 2 year oil service with them, but it was like 30k km behind on service. BMW told me to walk a way because it can be a Pandora box. Best part, I went back to ........cars to see what they will do, I told them this is a cash deal that I'm doing, will they send the car to BMW. This way and that way they came back and say they will send it, but I need to pay for the stuff, and my reaction was, and if there is bigger problems , what then? sales manager went in to buffer mode and offline after that question. My line manager bought a lemon from them, what saved him was because the car was finance and the bank force them to take the car back.
  2. The question is, what is included with that price at amazon? The price of the unit went up in the last 2 months. I paid in Jan R1545.77 for the full packed, that was a bike mount, 2 sensors and Hr sensor with strap. If you take that option now it will be R2209.64.
  3. Ek se gewoonlik altyd vir die wat moet oor kom " Just remember to bring your passport and put your phone on roaming" 😛
  4. No man guys, you got it wrong, it's weight reduction and in the process it helps with cooling the rear part of the bike and cooling for the disc brake or derailer 😜
  5. By we "steal" cars 😛 sorry, I call them that that sells doggy stuff to.
  6. Actually got a bit more then that. Got more memory, it's touch screen, got maps and some more stuff. Here is the info I pulled quickly: The Geoid CC700 Pro is a significant upgrade over the standard CC700, featuring a 2.8-inch color touchscreen, 8GB storage, map-based navigation, and DJI Action camera control, whereas the standard CC700 uses 3-button control. The Pro model enables 1000km route support compared to 300km on the base model. Key Differences Between Geoid CC700 and CC700 Pro Interaction: The Pro model features a smooth touchscreen, while the standard CC700 is controlled by 3 buttons. Navigation: The Pro features interactive map navigation (view routes in detail), while the standard version features basic route navigation. Storage: The Pro offers 8GB of storage (allowing for more maps and data), whereas the CC700 has 100h of data storage. Functionality: The Pro supports DJI Action 4/5Pro camera control, which is absent on the standard model. Routes: The Pro supports longer, 1000km single routes; the CC700 supports 300km. Data Density: The Pro features detailed information display for smart notifications.
  7. I went and check, that is a cc700 for that price of R2076.33. The CC700 Pro is R2900.
  8. I op for the Geoid CC 700 pro. really nice unit and works for me. There was a software update that i did over the weekend and i see there a new one this week again. I see they very active on FB on people request and with the developers to improve the product.
  9. @Duane_Bosch long time no see.
  10. Wil check to import a new one from Alixpress again. Did it last month for my road bike
  11. I'm maybe in luck, I just need to get a tool to pull the Bottom Bracket first and check. It's 68x113 ISIS BB that got the normal BSA thread that is inside the Cycleops unit. So will change it out to with BSA bottom bracket and get a crank. Maybe import a chines one again like i did few months ago.
  12. Or they got the bike back. @Lee.M any update?
  13. Pulled the drive side crank arm off and it's actually a isis bb. Need to get a 8 tooth spile tool to remove the bottom bracket to see thread size is inside.
  14. The old style in the old days 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 hahahahaha love your comments @DieselnDust so do you maybe have one? 😁
  15. Hi Hubbers, I'm trying my luck, I'm looking for a square taper power meter crank set if someone maybe got one that is hiding away in that cupboard full of random stuff. I know SRM was one of the brands and some more. I got a Cycleops Pt 300 pro unit that I got free from the forum years ago that was faulty. The power reading unit on the hub went dead, it's common problems on this setup. That time Cycleops wanted me to ship this this 29kg wheel to them so that they can check it out, and I gave it a skip because shipping that weight that time will cost allot. So I drop a cadence and speed sensor on it and run it like this for some years. Fast-forward a few years later, married live, busy house, back on the bike and a 6 year old boy that is cycling to, I took the unit out of storage so that I can use it while he is using the TACX Vortex smart unit "keeps him busy " and with Cape Town winter on us, indoor training will work better. I like the feeling of the Cycleops unit more because it's a solid unit. There is two ways "maybe 3" to go, is to check if I can find a Square taper power meter crank, spotted someone doing it on youtube and it works. Other option is going pedal power meter base or I need to pull the Bottom Bracket on it and see if it will take a BSA bottom bracket and drop new type crank on it, but this we will keep for last resort of doing things. So if someone maybe got a Square taper power meter crank that is still working, let me know please. Thanks
