Thought I'd share a rather clever variation for a bakkie bike rack, and now having used it, it is incredibly convenient. My father in law is a bit of a swiss army knife, and tends to engineer solutions when he has a problem. He needed access to his load bin a lot & didn't enjoy the bike racks on the front runner, so built this for his bicyles for work / family trips. The vertical pole is removable, and securing the wheels is currently completed via tube-strapped industrial cable ties. First pic is v1 and second is v2.
