Fun Cycling Events For Little Kids

In 2023 the Cape Epic hosted a kids race at the grande finale at val de vie.

I entered my, 4 year old, daughter in to it and she loved it!

Since then she has asked for more races like it and I saw there was one at the paarl bike fest but that has been postponed and subsequently canceled 😕

Are there other events out there hosting fun races for little kids? 

Not "real racing" but something where they get a medal and get to challenge themselves.

If she turns 6 before 31 December 2025, then she can take part in the Schools MTB series.

 

It is a sub.set of CSA ....

 

 

Check with the organisers in your area ....

 

Her school must be registered ... easy enough

A teacher must be a coach ... 2 years ago they made this stupidly difficult.

It is a SCHOOLs series ... home schooling kids were not welcome for years, not sure if it is any better now.

 

 

Back to the racing .... perfect for the little ones.  Few practice laps.  Short rest period, then the youngest race first.
