Maybe I'm trying to get too complicated but here's my issue, hope someone has an easier way than a factory reset.....

I have a Wahoo GPS on my mtb and Edge 530 on my roadbike Soooo selecting a bike is seemingly not going to work?

My plan is to keep one bike on my Strava apps on my phone and the other logging in via Chrome, saved as a "favourite" thereby getting 2 Strava apps.

My issue is that my Wahoo Element Roam won't allow me to change the Strava acc, only unauthorised or re-authorise.

Is the only solution a factory reset of my Wahoo head unit?

Apologies if I'm over implicating.....

Does Wahoo allow different ride types? Strava allows you to assign a different bike to different types of cycling activities. That then automatically pulls through to ProBikeGarage, not sure about the others.

Thanks, maybe, but I haven't noticed it, I'll have a look.

What I'm trying now ( in case Wahoo automatically pills through to my Strava apps when I authorise), is to delete the app from my phone and re-authorise either via the chrome version or redownload the Strava apps but log in via my second profile. It would be so simple if I had one bike and one head unit....😊

If you want to set your bike based on the recording device, have a look at ActivityFix

Auth it with your strava, create a rule for each bike based on the device, and you're done, it'll "fix" it going forward for you automatically (I do this based on the power meter name to distinguish between my gravel bike and my road bike, works perfectly)

Thanks, Im busy checking that out - I clicked Link With Strava bug it'd giving me the option to select either Wahoo or Garmin, wouldn't I need to link both as I upload from both to the same Strava account?

Not entirely sure, but have a read through here: https://www.activityfix.com/user_cp?page=9 (specifically section 6)

Edit, just testing on my side, you only need to link Strava to get the recording device.

Imagine the fun of 4 bikes and one head unit.  Okay, 3 on one head unit and the 4th on the IDT.

And just make sure you mix it up, randomly use 1 of the 3 to commute, and record that via a watch ....
