What is this bike possibly worth? Road racing Avalance

Hi all

My parents need to relocate to a retirement home. Sadly some stuff need to go. One of it was my old road racing bike. I didn't do long distances. My sister then took it over and also didn't do very long distances. I will attach a picture. Bike is in show condition. Sad to let it go but it is part of life. 

Anyone interested? And what can value be?

My opinion, and I stress it is that and it’s worth what you paid for it, is that the bike is worth very little money. Like hundreds not even thousands. 
 

Keep it for sentimental value or donate it to someone that needs a bike to commute etc.

Someone who would appreciate the old school steel frame and almost-vintage parts might love the chance to own and ride it, or convert it to a singlespeed maybe.

If it was mine, I'd list it with some nice photos for sale for R2500 and see how it goes.

As mentioned above, unless it's high end Italian steel or at least Reynolds 531 tubing or above, then it's worth very little on the local market, which is currently very flat.
If you're able to, donating it to a worthy cause will probably give you more joy than selling it for next to nothing, not to mention the joy it will give the recipient.

Price is what buyer is willing to pay and what seller is willing to accept. Simple. If I do a google lens lookup, similar bike was sold for R3500 last year on bikehub. You would never know unless you put it up for sale. Good luck.
